Day 128

I wouldn't share what I learned today even if I could. I had a very wonderful day and I'm choosing to keep it to myself, just this once... she says mysteriously.

Welcome!

I started this blog in 2010 in an effort to realize my resolution for that year. I had attempted (and moderately failed) to write something that I had learned every single day for 365 days. While I didn't quite meet my goal of writing daily posts, I did manage to pick up a few insights about life and obtained a humble respect for the wisdom one stands to gain by enduring trials. As fate would have it, 2010 proved to be my most trying year so far. But with those trials, I earned a truly raw appreciation for what it means to be alive, and what a blessing of opportunities that simple fact presents. One of the advantages of still walking the earth, is being able to share with my children (and anyone else who cares to listen) the lessons I've attained. I don't have any reason to expect that my time will be cut short, but just as it is with every other person on this planet- there's no way of knowing when tomorrow won't come.
