Today, exactly 3 years ago, I was trying desperately to fall asleep while anticipating the next day- Emma's birthday. I had the luxury of being induced so I was able to look forward to December 17th. I found a letter that I wrote to my Emma for her first Birthday, and reading it brought back every emotion I've experienced the past 3 years. Since I've had Emma I have learned a love I didn't know was possible. I feel so brave now, and completely terrified at the same time. I am the luckiest woman in the world to have hit the jackpot that is Emma. Happy Birthday little Turtle. We love you so much!
